2011 JUL 26 -- According to the authors of recent research published in the Clinical Journal of Oncology Nursing, "International cancer care efforts are focusing increasingly on why cancer typically is diagnosed at later stages in the developing world. In Middle Eastern countries such as Palestine, Jordan, Egypt, Syria, and Lebanon, cancer usually is diagnosed at a more advanced stage of disease."
