2011 AUG 2 -- Research findings, "Educational paper: the effect of cancer therapy on fertility, the assessment of fertility and fertility preservation options for pediatric patients," are discussed in a new report. According to the authors of recent research published in the European Journal of Pediatrics, "Over the past several decades, pediatric oncologists have seen the growth in the number of patients surviving their cancer. This is in large part due to the use of multimodal therapy including chemotherapy, surgery, and radiotherapy."
