New Lung Cancer Study Findings Have Been Reported by Scientists at University Hospital

2011 AUG 16 -- "The aim of this study was to assess the utility of dual-time-point F-18 fluorodeoxyglucose positron emission tomography (F-18 FDG PET) in differentiating benign from malignant pleural disease, in patients with non-small-cell lung cancer. A total of 61 patients with non-small-cell lung cancer and pleural effusion were included in this retrospective study," investigators in Bonn, Germany report.
