Investigators at University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health Release New Data on Rectal Cancer

2011 SEP 6 -- New investigation results, "Management of stage IV rectal cancer: palliative options," are detailed in a study published in World Journal of Gastroenterology. According to the authors of recent research published in the World Journal of Gastroenterology, "Approximately 30% of patients with rectal cancer present with metastatic disease. Many of these patients have symptoms of bleeding or obstruction."
