Study Results from INAIL in the Area of Bladder Cancer Published

2011 SEP 27 -- Data detailed in "Residential proximity to industrial sites in the area of Taranto (Southern Italy). A case-control cancer incidence study" have been presented. According to the authors of recent research from Rome, Italy, "The association between cancer incidence and the residence near polluting facilities in an industrial area nearby Taranto has been investigated. Age, sex and occupational exposure were controlled as confounding variables in a case-control study (658 cases, 2092 controls)."
