11th Annual LUNAFEST(R) Kicks Off Season

2011 OCT 4 -- LUNAFEST®, a national fundraising film festival that showcases short films by, for, and about women, announces nine unique films chosen for this year's circuit which premieres in San Francisco on September 22nd at the Herbst Theater. This year's films, which include a short film by Bay Area native, model and activist, Christy Turlington Burns, and local San Francisco filmmaker, Laura Green, are filled with stories of reflection, hope and humor and range from animation to fictional drama to documentary-style.
