Investigators at Chiba University Hospital Publish New Data on Head and Neck Cancer

2011 NOV 15 -- Research findings, "Nasal submucosal administration of antigen-presenting cells induces effective immunological responses in cancer immunotherapy," are discussed in a new report. According to the authors of a study from Chiba, Japan, "Human NKT cells are known to have strong antitumor activities and to be activated by specific ligand, a-galactosylceramide (aGelCer). We examined the migration pattern of aGalCer-pulsed DCs and the immune responses after administration by different routes."
