Researchers from Institute of Bioinformatics Report Details of New Studies and Findings in the Area of Squamous Cell Carcinoma

2011 NOV 22 -- Investigators publish new data in the report "Quantitative tissue proteomics of esophageal squamous cell carcinoma for novel biomarker discovery." According to the authors of recent research published in the journal Cancer Biology & Therapy, "Esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC) is among the top ten most frequent malignancies worldwide. In this study, our objective was to identify potential biomarkers for ESCC through a quantitative proteomic approach using the isobaric tags for relative and absolute quantitation (iTRAQ) approach."
