New Colon Cancer Study Findings Have Been Reported by B.M. Javierre and Co-Researchers

2011 DEC 13 -- Investigators discuss in "Long-range epigenetic silencing associates with deregulation of Ikaros targets in colorectal cancer cells" new findings in Colon Cancer. According to the authors of a study from Barcelona, Spain, "Transcription factors are common targets of epigenetic inactivation in human cancer. Promoter hypermethylation and subsequent silencing of transcription factors can lead to further deregulation of their targets."
