Studies from Division of Biology Provide New Data on Colon Cancer

2012 JAN 17 -- "Lysophosphatidic acid (LPA) acts as a potent stimulator of tumorigenesis. Cell-cell adhesion disassembly, actin cytoskeletal alterations, and increased migratory potential are initial steps of colorectal cancer progression," scientists writing in the European Journal of Pharmacology report.
