Studies Conducted at Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Lung Cancer Recently Published

2012 JAN 24 -- Investigators publish new data in the report "Proteome profiling for the identification of lung cancer signatures. 'Comprehensive and in-depth discovery of the disease proteome is an important issue in recent proteomics developments. Previous studies have shown a number of biomarkers discovered in various diseases, including lung cancer," researchers in Kowloon, Hong Kong report.

"Some of them are potentially useful in lung cancer diagnostics and prognostics. However, few of them can act as organ-specific biomarkers to extensively compare multiple cancer models," wrote W.C Cho and colleagues, Queen Elizabeth Hospital.
