Department of Surgical Oncology Publishes Research in Breast Cancer

2012 FEB 28 -- New investigation results, "Breast cancer screening in developing countries," are detailed in a study published in Preventive Medicine. According to the authors of recent research published in the journal Preventive Medicine, "The incidence of breast cancer in developing countries is rapidly on the rise, and cancers are generally detected at advanced stages when a cure is not possible. If advanced cancers could be down-staged by earlier detection, many lives can be saved."
