Recent Studies from Shinshu University School of Medicine Add New Data to Papillary Cancer

2012 MAR 20 -- New investigation results, "Amiodarone-induced thyrotoxicosis with thyroid papillary cancer in multinodular goiter: case report," are detailed in a study published in Medical Principles and Practice. In this recent study, researchers in Matsumoto, Japan conducted a study "To report a case of amiodarone-induced thyrotoxicosis (AIT) concomitant with thyroid cancer in multinodular goiter (MNG). Clinical Presentation and Intervention: A 61-year-old man treated with amiodarone for 5 years presented with mild sweating."
