Autonomous University Publishes Research in Apoptosis

2012 APR 3 -- New investigation results, "Targeting the Fas/FasL signaling pathway in cancer therapy," are detailed in a study published in Expert Opinion On Therapeutic Targets. According to the authors of a study from Madrid, Spain, "The Fas/FasL system plays a significant role in tumorigenesis. Research has shown that its impairment in cancer cells may lead to apoptosis resistance and contribute to tumor progression."
