Reports from Medical Center Add New Data to Research in Cervical Cancer

2012 APR 3 -- Current study results from the report, "Treatment of fallopian tube metastasis in cervical cancer after laparoscopic ovarian transposition," have been published. According to the authors of recent research from Manila, Philippines, "A 40-year-old woman, gravida 2, para 2, with squamous cell carcinoma of the cervix, stage IIB, underwent ovarian transposition. Bilateral salpingectomy was performed as part of the operative technique."
