Researchers from Okayama University Report Details of New Studies and Findings in the Area of Lung Cancer

2012 APR 10 -- A new study, "Frequent methylation and oncogenic role of microRNA-34b/c in small-cell lung cancer," is now available. According to the authors of a study from Okayama, Japan, "Small-cell lung cancer (SCLC) is an aggressive tumor with a dismal prognosis among primary lung cancers. MicroRNAs (miRNAs) can act as oncogenes or tumor-suppressor genes in human malignancy."
