Findings from Duke University Provide New Insights into Prostate Cancer

2012 MAY 1 -- In this recent study, researchers in Durham, North Carolina conducted a study "To estimate the benefit of PSA-based screening for prostate cancer from the patient and societal perspectives. A partially observable Markov decision process model was used to optimize PSA screening decisions."
