Cardiology company adds employees with expansion of cell transplantation trials

Bioheart, Inc., announced that it has added a number of people to its clinical and research teams coinciding with expansion of its cell transplantation clinical trials and internal research and development programs. Bioheart is focused on regenerating damaged heart muscle with its MyoCell myogenic cell composition (adult muscle stem cells - myoblasts), which is catheter delivered. Clinical studies of Bioheart's MyoCell product began in Europe in May of 2001 and in the U.S.A in 2003.
