CDN $6.9M funding available for 16 projects from cancer to heart disease

The Canadian federal government announced millions in funding for scientists at the University of Western Ontario and its research partners, Lawson Health Research Institute and Robarts Research Institute. Minister of Health, Ujjal Dosanjh, released the results of the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR) spring operating grant competition in Vancouver.
