Global deal signed for surgical cryotherapy treatment for atrial fibrillation

ATS Medical, Inc., (ATSI) announced that it has entered into a global partnership agreement with Canadian-based CryoCath Technologies, Inc., to market CryoCath's surgical cryotherapy products for the ablation of cardiac arrhythmias. Under terms of the agreement, ATS has been granted co-promotion rights in the U.S. as well as exclusive distribution rights in the rest of the world including Europe and Asia. The transaction allows CryoCath to continue their quest to be a dominant player in the atrial fibrillation (AF) market. According to Michael D.
