Alexion Pharmaceuticals, Inc., (ALXN) announced that professor Axel Haverich, Hannover Medical School, and professor Michel Carrier, University of Montreal and the Montreal Heart Institute, presented two separate and additional analyses from the phase III trial of the investigational drug pexelizumab in patients undergoing coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) surgery with cardiopulmonary bypass. "Pexelizumab for Reduction in Infarction and Mortality in Coronary Artery Bypass Graft Surgery," or PRIMO-CABG was presented at the American Heart Association Scientific Sessions in New Orleans, Louisiana.
