Data on coronary artery disease presented at AHA sessions

diaDexus announced findings from two studies that were presented at the American Heart Association (AHA) Scientific Sessions held in New Orleans, Lousianna. The first study confirms that elevated levels of Lp-PLA2 (lipoprotein-associated phospholipase A2) independently predict stable coronary artery disease (CAD). An additional study found that Lp-PLA2, as measured by the diaDexus PLAC Test, is not commonly elevated in response to systemic inflammation and has only modest biological variability.
