Danish producer of patch clamping devices reports on sales, marketing, growth

In the fall of 2004, Sophion Bioscience A/S launched the company's first products and by the end of this quarter, the company expects having completed customer installations in North America, Europe and Japan.

Together with other existing shareholders, NeuroSearch has completed an increase of Sophion's capital base of (Denmark kroner) DKK20 million (US$2.26 million). NeuroSearch has participated with DKK6.4 million (US$1.05 million) and thereby increased its ownership from 25% to 29%.

This strengthening of Sophion's capital base is to ensure the company's future growth and primarily be used for the up-scaling of the company's production of QPatch16...
