Researchers in Australia, the United States and Netherlands release new cardiology data

Study 1: Research findings, "Neurodevelopmental outcomes and surgery in neonates," are discussed in a new report. "A neonate requiring major surgery in 2006 has a greater prospect of survival than ever before. Increasingly, however, there is awareness that critical illness may affect later neurodevelopment," investigators in Sydney, Australia report.
