Merit Medical introduces stiffened dilator mini access kit, S-MAK

Merit Medical Systems Inc. (MMSI) announced the introduction of a new stiffened dilator mini access kit called the S-MAK.

The Merit S-MAK is a patent-pending device with excellent tip transitions that improve a physician's ability to gain vascular access, while facilitating smooth entry into the vessel. The S-MAK's stiffened dilator provides additional support during placement through scar tissue and/or difficult anatomy. The S-MAK has full-market release, and the company has already received orders for it.
