Reports outline hyperlipidemia study findings from University of Ioannina, Department of Internal Medicine

New investigation results, 'Effect of rosuvastatin treatment on plasma visfatin levels in patients with primary hyperlipidemia,' are detailed in a study published in European Journal of Pharmacology. "Visfatin is a novel adipokine involved in the process of atherosclerosis. We assessed the effect of rosuvastatin on plasma visfatin levels in patients with primary hyperlipidemia," researchers in Ioannina, Greece report.
