Fresh data on adenosine are presented in the report 'Adenosine inhibits paraventricular pre-sympathetic neurons through ATP-dependent potassium channels.' "Adenosine produces cardiovascular depressor effects in various brain regions. However, the cellular mechanisms underlying these effects remain unclear," scientists in the United States report.
