Adolescent high blood pressure is a high-risk warning sign

Reporting on the Atherosclerosis Risk in Young Adults (ARYA) study, investigators from the University Medical Center, Utrecht, The Netherlands, concluded that the cascade of increased cardiovascular risk begins in adolescence, especially for those with high systolic blood pressure.
