New Mexico Heart Institute to deploy electronic health record

Allscripts (MDRX) announced that New Mexico Heart Institute will deploy the TouchWorks electronic health record from Allscripts to connect physicians across 18 locations in New Mexico and Southern Colorado.

New Mexico Heart Institute conducted an evaluation of electronic health record (EHR) systems before selecting Allscripts. The 45 cardiologists and cardiovascular specialists of NMHI were looking for a solution that would improve access to patient information in order to improve the quality of care.
