"Bleeding is a common and costly complication" of PCI, physicians in New Jersey noted. "Little is known about the risk factors for bleeding complications."
In a recent study, A.S. Mathis and coauthors at St. Barnabas Hospital in Livingston collected "PCI-related observations" from their institution and used this information "to establish risk factors for short-term bleeding complications, with special focus on examining the importance of renal function."
