Studies from Nihon University have provided new information about cardiology

A report, "Application of ultrasonography to postmortem examination. Diagnosis of pericardial tamponade," is newly published data in Forensic Science International. According to recent research from Tokyo, Japan, "In postmortem examination, it is difficult to diagnose pericardial tamponade in a dead body from the findings of conventional external examination alone. However, ultrasonography is a common diagnostic tool for pericardial tamponade in clinical practice."
