Research from Northwestern University, Department of Pediatrics yields new data on cardiology

New investigation results, "Subventricular zone cells remain stable in vitro after brain injury," are detailed in a study published in Neuroscience. According to recent research from the United States, "Subventricular zone (SVZ) cells emigrate toward brain injury but relatively few survive. Thus, if they are to be used for repair, ex vivo expansion and autologous transplantation of SVZ cells may be necessary."
