Research from University of Texas, M.D. Anderson Cancer Center has provided new data on congestive heart failure therapy

Scientists discuss in "Congestive heart failure is a rare event in patients receiving imatinib therapy" new findings in congestive heart failure. According to recent research from the United States, "A recent preclinical study suggested that imatinib may be cardiotoxic in some patients. We reviewed all reported serious adverse events of cardiac adverse events occurring in patients on clinical trials involving imatinib."
