Scientists at Drexel University target monoclonal antibodies

In this recent article published in the Journal of Cardiovascular Pharmacology and Therapeutics, scientists in the United States conducted a study "To evaluate the safety of intracoronary (IC) abciximab during percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI). Adjunctive treatment with glycoprotein IIb/IIIa inhibitors, especially abciximab, during PCI has been shown to improve clinical and procedural outcomes in numerous studies."
