Studies from University of Sydney have provided new data on coronary heart disease

According to recent research from Concord, Australia, "EMMPRIN (CD147) is a matrix metalloproteinase inducer present on leukocytes and recently identified on platelets in vitro. We examined platelet CD147 expression in vivo and in correlation with markers of platelet activation and coronary artery disease (CAD)."
