Findings from University of Heidelberg, Department of Cardiology provide new insights into arrhythmia

2010 NOV 29 -- Research findings, 'Cost savings and safety of ICD remote control by telephone: a prospective, observational study,' are discussed in a new report. According to recent research from Heidelberg, Germany, "We examined the costs and safety of follow-up of patients with an implantable cardioverter defibrillator (ICD). In a prospective study, a remote monitoring system was used to interrogate ICD devices via telephone."
