Researchers from Technical University Discuss Findings in Primary Hyperparathyroidism

2011 NOV 14 -- According to the authors of recent research published in the Echocardiography-A Journal of Cardiovascular Ultrasound and Allied Techniques, "Primary hyperparathyroidism (PHP) is associated with a variety of cardiovascular disturbances such as left ventricular (LV) hypertrophy, diastolic cardiac dysfunction, and hypertension. LV asynchrony is defined as the loss of the simultaneous peak contraction of corresponding cardiac segments."
