Lead researcher Nicole Hebert-Croteau, MD, told the 4th European Breast Cancer Conference on March 19, 2004, that the findings, while not statistically different, confirmed the assumption that breast cancer patients benefited from taking part in clinical trials. Treatment in centers that dealt with large numbers of cases was also associated with better survival.
