Biotechnology company appoints vice chairman

Raven biotechnologies, inc. announced that William R. Rohn will become the vice chairman of the board of directors of Raven.

Rohn was most recently at Biogen Idec where he served as the chief operating officer (COO) since the merger of IDEC Pharmaceuticals Corporation and Biogen, Inc. in November 2003. Prior to the merger, he served as president and COO for IDEC Pharmaceuticals.
