Scientists in Greece report, "We studied the effect of levothyroxine (L-T4 ) suppressive therapy on bone mineral density (BMD) in pre-menopausal women with total thyroidectomy and radioactive iodine (131I) ablation therapy post-operatively for differentiated thyroid cancer (DTC)."
