Pediatric leukemia treated by home-based chemotherapy might be feasible

According to preliminary results, home-based chemotherapy could be used to treat children with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL).

According to recent research published in the journal Pediatric Blood & Cancer, "The study objective was to compare a hospital-based and a home-based chemotherapy program for children with ALL in relation to Quality of Life (QOL), safety, caregiver burden, and costs."
