New findings from Japan, the People's Republic of China and the United States in the area of lung cancer described

Investigators in Japan, the People's Republic of China and the United States have published new lung cancer data.

Study 1: The outcome of locally advanced (IIIA-IIIB) lung cancer patients treated by pulmonary resection could be predicted by nodal status and tumor size following neoadjuvant therapy.

According to a study from Japan, "We performed this study to determine the role and prognostic factors of neoadjuvant therapy followed by surgery for locally advanced non-small cell cancer.
