Scientists at Kaohsiung Medical University, Department of Surgery discuss research in hepatocellular cancer prognosis

Investigators publish new data in the report "Potential prognostic value of leptin receptor in hepatocellular carcinoma." According to a study from Kaohsiung, Taiwan, "Obesity is associated with several human malignancies, including hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). This association may result from the deregulated expression of adipokines."
