CPRIT's First Round of Requests for Prevention Funding Exceeds Total Budget Amount

CPRIT receives requests totaling over $28 million in response to its initial prevention funding opportunities. The Cancer Prevention and Research Institute of Texas (CPRIT) announced that 55 applications were received in response to CPRIT's first two requests for applications (RFAs) for cancer prevention funding awards. Three additional RFAs are still to be released early next month.
