Alzheimers group sets August 23 for Memory Walk, new day of hope for sufferers

The Alzheimer's Association is creating August 23 as a new day on the calendar to focus on raising awareness about Alzheimers disease and the organization's annual Memory Walk. August 23 is a day of hope for people suffering from Alzheimer's disease and their families. It is one more day to raise money, help a victim of Alzheimer's cope with their disease, make memories, share a life, and take steps to find a Since 1989, Memory Walk has raised more than $149 million and is the largest national fundraising event for Alzheimers disease.
