Diet-induced brain insulin resistance characterized

Researchers characterize diet-induced brain insulin resistance in a recent issue of the Journal of Neurochemistry.

According to recent research from Canada, "While considerable research has examined diminished insulin responses within peripheral tissues, comparatively little has been done to examine the effects of this metabolic disruption upon the CNS.
