Diabetic control, disease duration, and onset age predict diabetes complications risk

Diabetic control, duration of the disease, and the onset age predict type 2 diabetes complications risk.

In a recent article published in the journal Diabetes Research and Clinical Practice, scientists in Taiwan conducted a study "To describe the clinical characteristics and chronic diabetic complications in early (EOD) and late onset type 2 diabetes mellitus (LOD) in Asia."

L.M. Chuang and colleagues at the National Taiwan University Hospital explained, "Retrospective collection of information (basic patient data, treatment received for diabetes, hypertension, dyslipidemia, clinical measurements, complications, life-style management, etc.)...
