Healthways expands HealthPlus of Michigan contract to provide disease-management services

Healthways, Inc., (HWAY) announced a 3-year extension of its contract with HealthPlus of Michigan, a health maintenance organization with over 195,000 members, to provide disease management services for members with diabetes, heart failure, and coronary artery disease (CAD).

In addition, Healthways expanded the agreement, bringing the company's Impact Conditions program to approximately 1800 HealthPlus members beginning May 1, 2006.
