Cancer group promotes public awareness about radiation therapy

As one of the first steps in its new Public Awareness Campaign to educate the public about how radiation therapy is safely and effectively used to treat cancer, the American Society for Therapeutic Radiology and Oncology has published a new patient information brochure titled "Radiation Therapy for Prostate Cancer, Non-Surgical Options: Facts to Help Patients Make an Informed Decision."
