Oncology group participating in clinical trial of women with breast-brain cancer

The Oncology Alliance of Milwaukee is participating in a phase 3, randomized, open-label trial called ENRICH (enhancing whole brain radiation therapy in patients with breast cancer and hypoxic brain metastases). The trial is designed to compare the effects of whole brain radiation therapy with supplemental oxygen with or without Efaproxyyn (efaproxiral) in women with brain metastases originating from breast cancer. Enrollment in this study is ongoing at the Oncology Alliance of Milwaukee and at other cancer centers across North America.
